Factory Reset SAMSUNG G9198 Remove Pattern Lock

Pattern lock is a best way to stop other people to use your mobile and disturb your privacy. But sometimes you forget your pattern lock and try to much wrong pattern patterns. To remove the pattern lock you have to apply hard reset or factory restore on your phone.

Restore by software method:

• Start by turninng on the device by using the Power key.
• From the Home Screen go to Menu and then to Settings.
• Tap Backup & Reset and then select Factory data reset.
• In the next step choose Reset device.
• To confirm your choice select Erase everything.
• That's All! You have done.

Factory Reset by hardware keys method:

1. The device must be turned off so hold down the Power key for a few seconds
2. After that, press and hold together: Volume Up + Home + Power button for a couple of seconds.
3. You should release held keys when the Samsung Logo appears on the screen.
4. Then select from available options "wipe data / factory reset" using Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to confirm.
5. Afterwards choose "Yes -- delete all user data" to confirm the whole operation.
6. When the Recovery Mode appears again select option "reboot system now".
7. That's All!
